At our Jewish gift shop in Brookline, MA we carry a wide range of unique Jewish items. For example, one of bestsellers is a baseball themed yarmulke handmade in Israel with Hebrew lettering. We also have educational games, greeting cards, and more. Our past meetings have included fiction and non-fiction, contemporary and classic books by British and international authors.

The Old Synagogue was established in Kazimierz when the district was first populated by a large Polish Jewish community, in the fifteenth century. The edifice was reformed several times throughout the centuries. During World War II, the Nazis plundered and wrecked the synagogue, transforming it into a storehouse. The synagogue building will be closed until April 15th. At that time, our Board will reassess, in consultation with local and national authorities. Rabbi Marcy is currently developing virtual and online approaches to keep us all connected during this time.

Learn about Prague’s Jewish heritage and the Jewish community in a guided hour walking tour Explore the Jewish Quarter and see the synagogues and Jewish cemetery Listen to stories about the Jewish community, the quarter's history, Spanish Synagogue and more/5(21). So how is this book different from all other books? Many books take the overall mission of the synagogue as a given, and the recommendations around structure are really about incremental change. Tomorrow’s Synagogue Today stimulates the reader to unleash the power of synagogues to exponentially influence people’s Jewish lives.
